FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf D2 hockey team announces the signing of Blake Raddatz to the 2024-25 roster.
Raddatz is from Wausau, WI. He spent time with the Wausau RiverWolves during the 2019-20 season and again in the 2020-21. The RiverWolves were in the NA3HL during that time. Following his time after high school and with the RiverWolves Raddatz went to attend Lake Superior State University and played for the ACHA D2 team in 2021. In 2023-24 season Blake ended his junior career with the Hudson Havoc of the USPHL.
Raddatz will bring a unique experience to the roster this year with ACHA hockey under his belt already and having the mix of college and junior hockey experience. He is a hard-working player that will get an opportunity to keep improving and grow on and off the ice here at Waldorf. The 6'2'' forward will continue to add to the new size this Waldorf team has brought in for the upcoming season. Blake is excited to get back on the ice and go to work with his new team and university.
"Blake is going to bring a lot of energy and more grit to the ice for us this season. Blake was a player that we worked quickly within the recruiting process when it became clear how well of a fit both sides were," said Head Coach Sean Parker.
