FOREST CITY, IA – The Waldorf men's soccer team hosted the University of Jamestown Jimmies for a conference game on Thursday evening. The Warriors lost 0-3.
The Jimmies scored an early goal, unassisted, within the first two minutes of the game to take an early lead. Their next goal came at the 14th minute mark. The Jimmies closed out the first half by scoring their final goal.
The Waldorf defense and goalkeeper Charlie Austin-Ross (SR/Essex, UK) kept Jamestown from scoring in the second half.
Lucas Berte (SR/Joinville, Brazil) had a team-high of three shots, one on goal, and Lucas Hanchar (FR/Ontario, Canada) added one shot on goal. Austin-Ross finished with seven saves.
Next up for the Warriors is an away conference game against Briar Cliff (IA) on Saturday, October 7th at 5 pm.
