MITCHELL, S.D. – The Waldorf men's soccer team was on the road for a GPAC contest against the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers. The Warriors lost 2-0.
The Warriors started off the game with four shots on goal within the first 8-minutes of the game, that were ultimately saved by the Tigers goalie.
At the 39th minute, the Tigers scored their first goal unassisted.
In the second half, the Warriors saw a few more scoring opportunities but were unable to produce. The Tigers scored their final goal in the 86th minute to win 2-0.
Waldorf goalkeeper, Charlie Austin-Ross (SR/Essex, UK) finished the game with six saves.
Next up for the men's soccer team is a non-conference road game against Bellevue (NE) on Saturday, October 14th at 5:30 pm.
