Waldorf women drop GPAC opener
OMAHA, Neb. - Playing in their first conference game as a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference, the Waldorf women's soccer team traveled west to Omaha to face the College of Saint Mary.
The Flames defeated the Warriors in the conference tilt, 11-1.
CSM tallied eight goals in the first half en route to the victory. Four different Flames scored two goals each.
Waldorf's lone goal came off the foot of Olivia Cross. Her goal in the 36th minute was her third of the season.
Hannah McNeave saved 13 shots in net for Waldorf. Isabella Bell added nine saves.
Waldorf (0-6, 0-1 in GPAC) returns home for a game against Mount Marty Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
