FULTON, Mo. - The Waldorf volleyball team opened their 2024 season on the road with a pair of matches at the William Woods Triangular in Missouri. The Warriors dropped their first match of the day to the host institution in three sets. They then fell to Mount Mercy in four sets.
Against Mount Mercy, Waldorf dropped the first two sets before winning a tight third set, 26-24. The Mustangs then closed it out with a 25-20 win in set four. Three Warriors had double digit kill performances led by Kaylin Koch's 14 kill effort. Anna Longhenry added 11 kills and Kenzie Kidd had 10. Kaylee Kidd led Waldorf with 17 digs with Kenzie Kidd adding 13.
Waldorf (0-2) will stay in Missouri for a road contest at Culver-Stockton Saturday at 2 p.m.
