Men's Cross Country Finish Season at NSAA Championship

WEST SALEM, WI – The Waldorf men's cross country team competed at the North Star Athletic Association Championships at the Maple Grove Venue on Friday afternoon. The Warriors finished in 6th place.

"I'm proud of these 6 athletes. Robert and Jorge really stepped outside of their comfort zone to ensure we got a team score and I'm thankful they competed for us," stated Head Coach Janna Langrell.

Andrew Huber (SR/Worthington, MN) finished in 23rd with a time of 29:11.9. Langrell added, "Andrew had arguably the best race of his career despite it not being a personal best. He was engaged throughout the entire race, gained position every mile, and really fought for one of his highest conference finishes ever."

Connor Sopko's (FR/Forest City, IA) time was 33:10.7, Nolan Reynolds ran a 34:15.1, Brunelson Dominique (FR/Lauderhill, FL) ran a 36:34.1, Robert Beal (SO/Rio Rancho, NM) ran a 39:43.5, and Jorge Olivo-Cabrera (SR/Andover, MN) finished with a 40:29.2.

"Connor, Nolan, and Brunelson all ran tough races and finished on a high note for the season. Indoor is going to be really exciting for these athletes."
