Women's XC Finish 3rd in Season Opener

MASON CITY, Iowa- The Women's Cross-Country team opened their season placing 3rd while competing at the Trent Smith Invitational hosted by the NIACC Trojans. The course was a one lap, mainly flat, with a 180 turn – 5k.
Marissa O'Connor (FR/Murietta, CA), Miracle Tucker (FR, Montevideo, MN), and Kayla Avila (FR, El Paso, TX) recorded their first ever collegiate race. Gemma Jasso (SR/ Edinburg, TX) and Danielle Wood (JR/Howard Lake, MN) both recorded their fastest opening 5k in their career.
