Women's Golf Take 1st at Waldorf Invitational

LAKE MILLS, IA – The Waldorf women's golf team returned to the green for the Waldorf Invitational at the Rice Lake Golf Course on Friday. The Warriors took first with a team total of 333.
"Very proud of the women's team for their continued strong play and winning the tournament today," said Head Coach Mark Clouse. "Very consistent throughout our entire lineup and I'm optimistic they will continue to get even better."
Amanda Karvala (JR/New Berlin, WI) led the way for the Warriors finishing in 2nd place with a score of 75. Bella Heintzelman (JR/Dixon, IL) tied for 4th with an 82 and Jordan Aholt (SR/Augusta, MO) tied for 6th with an 85.
Clouse added, "It was also nice to see Amanda get her first individual win of the season."
Hailey Panos (SR/Waucoma, IA), Ashley Groesbeck (SO/Woodinville, WA), and Malary Scaggs (FR/Kansas City, MO) all finished with a 91 and Maddie Carver had a 95.
The women's golf team is back in action tomorrow, Saturday, September 30th for a home dual against Dickinson State starting at 10 am.
