D2 Hockey Falls to Tetons at Home

ALBERT LEA, MN – The Waldorf D2 hockey team was back in action at their home ice for a weekend series against the Williston State College Tetons on Saturday evening. The Warriors faced a 0-4 defeat.
The first period remained scoreless. The Warriors had 14 shots on goal compared to the Tetons seven.
The Tetons scored their first goal halfway through the second period.
In the third period, the Tetons added three more goals, one being on a power-play against the Warriors, to win 4-0.
Waldorf goalkeeper, Treyson Boesch (FR/Brandon, SD), finished the game with 28 saves.
“Another strong effort. We couldn’t find the back of the net,” Head Coach Sean Parker stated. “Penalties with a short bench ended up being our downfall. Treyson Boesch had another great performance.”
The Warriors return tomorrow, October 22nd for the second game against the Tetons. Puck drop is at 12 pm.
