ALBERT LEA, Minn. - The Waldorf D2 hockey team hosted their second straight series in successive weekends by entertaining Jamestown Friday night and Saturday night. Jamestown came away with victories in both contests.
Jamestown won Friday night, 10-0. They pummeled Waldorf goaltenders with 73 shots. Three shots went into the net in the first period. Three more in the second and four in the third. Treyson Boesch was credited with the loss.
Saturday afternoon, Jamestown continued their winning ways with an 8-1 victory. Zach Jimenez continued his great start to the season with a goal in the third period for Waldorf. He has six points (2 goals, 4 assists) in just four games this season.
Waldorf (1-3) returns to the ice October 12-13 for a home series against Augustana.
