Waldorf 1-3 Loss vs Coe

Waldorf played their first regular season match on Thursday 10/5 against Coe College. The Warriors started off slow losing the first map on Busan 2-0. Going into the second map, our Warriors took Coe to King's Row. After Coe College finished the map with 7 seconds left, it was our Warriors turn to attack. A strong attack brought the battle close in Overtime, but Waldorf fell short just .22 meters from the end. The close end to Kings Row showed the Warriors will not go down without a fight. In the first official flashpoint match of the season, Waldorf won a map making the series 1-2 in the bo5. Esperanca was chosen as push map. Coe wanting to end the Warriors before game 5 and Waldorf wanting to reverse sweep. Unfortunately, after a back and forth game 4. The warriors lost push by just 1.4 meters losing the series 1-3. Waldorf starts the season 0-1 but will be ready next week.

Waldorf University played against Northwestern College in Week 2 for the NECC Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Crews. The first crew battle consisted of Bleezuz, Chef, Rckstar, and Jojo losing 1-0. The first game was a nailbiter as the final round came down to a last stock last hit scenario but unfortunately could not close. The second crew battle consisted of the same starting roster. After going down 3 stocks the first match, the warriors had an uphill battle. Playing the game 1 match and 1 stock at a time our Waldorf Warriors came close to bring it back and going to game 3 but ended up falling Short with Northwestern winning by 2 stocks. Our warriors move on to 0-2.
