Shooting sports competes at Super Shoot
ALDA, Neb. - The Waldorf shooting sports teams competed at the Collegiate Greater Midwest Super Shoot last weekend in Nebraska.
Fisher Nagel delivered the Warriors top performance over the multi-day event. He had a first place performance out of 105 male competitors in the super sporting event with a score of 43. He also top a 10th place showing in the doubles skeet with a score of 59. In the men's HOA standings, Nagel finished in sixth place among the men. He placed 23rd in the CAA standings. Josh Pung placed 20th in the HOA standings and 48th in the CAA standings. Dominic Weaver placed 110th in the CAA standings.
For the women, Nicole Laes was Waldorf's top female performer. She placed 25th in the CAA standings. Her best showing was in the sporting clays where she tied for 19th place with 35 points. She was followed by Brianna Myers (28th) and Jillian Kardoes (30th).
Waldorf next competes November 2-3 at the Iowa 4-year championships.
