Paige Harns Shines in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - The women's bowling team traveled to Cedar Rapids, IA this past weekend to compete in the Kohawk Invite. The Warriors finished in 7th place during the 11-team event with a grand total score of 6978 points.
Junior Paige Harns had an impressive weekend at the lanes coming in 15th place out of 85 competitors. Out of five games, she averaged 186.6 with an overall total of 933. Her best game was her first with a score of 204.
Coming in 25th place was sophomore Samantha Adams. She posted a 172.2 average and an overall score of 861. Her best game was her third with a score of 210.
Two other Warriors, Heather Viers and Paige Rands managed to place in the top half of the competitors. Viers came in 33rd with a 165.8 average, and Rands placed 40th with an average of 160.2
"The girls again did a great job of rebounding after mistakes and working through the transition together. It was great to see the girls who haven't bowled much this season step up and perform when we needed them to," said head coach Kyle Swiderski.
The Warriors will travel to Waterloo, IA next weekend to compete in the MIBC Championships.
