Women's Bowling Heads to Addison for the Kegel ISBPA

Addison, IL - The women's bowling team travelled to Addison, Illinois to compete in the Kegel ISBPA this past weekend.
The Warriors placed 32nd with an overall score of 6987 points. Senior Heather Viers was the top bowler for the Warriors with an overall score of 814. Through five games she averaged a score of 162.8, with her best game being her second with a score of 187. Viers had a strike percentage of 35.37% and a spare percentage of 58.49%.
Not far behind her was junior Paige Harns. Harns posted an overall score of 813. Through five games she averaged 162.6 points with her best game being her third with a score of 180. Harns claimed a strike percentage of 32.93% and a spare percentage of 60.00%. Statistically, Emily Tieskotter shined for the Warriors and led half of the statistical categories that are tracked for women. This includes a 44.59% strike percentage and a 86.67% single pin spare percentage.
"The women grinded through day 1 of qualifying and we were proud that they kept their attitudes up even during bad games. That led to them averaging 10 pins higher the second day of qualifying and jumping up a few spots in the standings," said head coach Kyle Swiderski.
The Warriors will now travel to Cedar Rapids, IA to compete in the Kohawk Invite next weekend.
