Men's Golf Compete at Luther Spring Classic

DECORAH, Iowa – The Waldorf men's golf team competed in the two-day Luther Spring Classic at the Oneota Golf and Country Club hosted by Luther College on Sunday and Monday. The Warriors took 5th place with an overall score of 618, 316 on the first day and 302 on the second.
Thomas Houdayer (SO/Evreux, France) shot a 71 on both days, finishing two under par and tied for 2nd. Johannes Shaw (FR/Bloemfontein, South Africa) was close behind with a tie for 7th place and a combined score of 152.
Tyler Clouse (JR/Forest City, IA) finished in a four-way tie for 15th shooting an 81 on the first day and improving his score on the second with a 74. Logen Hoshauer (SO/Waterford, IL) finished with 161, Aaron Fleming (SR/Marshalltown, IA) a 163, bettering his second day score by nine, and Caden Loeppky (SO/Saskatoon, Canada) with 164.
"This tournament was great preparation for the conference tournament next week. Lots of positive results from an event that featured some excellent golf teams," Head Coach Mark Clouse stated. "We bounced back on day two and had the second best team score of the day with solid contributions from Thomas Houdayer, Tyler Clouse, and Aaron Fleming."
Next up for the Warriors is the NSAA Conference Championship meet starting on Monday, May 1st in Omaha, Nebraska starting at 9 a.m.
