Waldorf Golf Travels to Graceland Invitational
MARYVILLE, MO. - The Waldorf Golf teams competed in the Graceland Invitational on March 28 and 29.
The men competed against nine other teams from Southwestern Community College, Buena Vista University, Simpson College, North Iowa Area Community College, North Central Missouri College, Central College, and Graceland University. The team secured fourth place after two rounds of play. Thomas Houdayer placed 5th overall with 9 over par. Carlos Filipczak tied for 15th place with a score of +15. Tyler Clouse and Logen Hoshauer were close behind with 16 and 18 over par, respectively. Johannes Shaw and Braxton Tremain were tied with scores of +21.
The women's team competed against six other teams from Park University, Mount Marty University, Simpson College, Buena Vista University, North Iowa Area Community College, and Peru State College. The team finished in sixth place. Isabella Heintzelman led the efforts for the Warriors with a sixth-place finish, improving her round 2 score by eleven strokes. Ashley Groesbeck tied for 12th place.
The Warriors take a week off from competition and are back on the road to the Missouri Valley Invitational in Marshall, MO, on April 7 and 8.
