Men place 7th in Kansas
NEWTON, Kan. - The Waldorf men's golf team traveled south to Kansas for a two-day tournament at the Bethany College Classic. The team placed seventh overall.
Iowa Western CC took the team crown shooting a combined 2-under par as a team. The Waldorf 'B' team came in 10th place.
Thomas Houdayer led the Waldorf team as he tied for 18th place overall with a two-day total of 150 (74, 76). Tyler Clouse tied for 30th place with a total of 156 (77, 79). Cole Ruckman finished tied for 33rd with a score of 157 (78, 79). Aaron Fleming (161) and Carlos Filipczak (166) rounded out the Waldorf 'A' team.
Caden Loeppky and Logen Hoshhauer led the Waldorf 'B' team with identical two-day totals of 162.
Waldorf is back on the course Friday and Saturday at the Triton Invitational in Fort Dodge.
