Clouse, Houdayer finish in top 10 at NIACC Invitational

MASON CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf men's golf team competed locally Tuesday at the NIACC Invitational in Mason City. Tyler Clouse and Thomas Houdayer each had top 10 finishes as the team placed sixth overall.
Clouse led the Waldorf contingent with a fifth place finish after carding a 3-under par 69. Clouse tied with two other golfers for fifth place. Houdayer also finished below par with a 1-under 71 which was good for a tie for eighth place. Keegan Bronson shot 5-over par, good for 32nd place. Braxton Tremain (+9) and Carlos Filipczak (+10) rounded out Waldorf's A team.
Playing on the Waldorf 'B' team, Caden Skelding had a sensational outing finishing in a tie for second overall with a 5-under par 67.
Waldorf returns to the links Saturday and Sunday at the Buena Vista Invitational.
