Men's Golf Place 4th & 6th at Waldorf Invitational

LAKE MILLS, IA – The Waldorf men's golf team hosted the Waldorf Invitational at the Rice Lake Golf Course on Friday. The Warriors had two teams who competed, the Black team tied for 4th with a total of 316 and the Purple team finished 6th with 321.
Thomas Houdayer (JR/Evreux, France) finished in 5th place with a total of 75. Caden Loeppky (JR/Saskatoon, Canada) and Dylan Holland (JR/Kennewick, WA) tied for 7th with a score of 77 and Carlos Filipczak (FR/Wendeburg, Germany) tied for 8th with 78.
Logen Hoshauer (JR/Waterford, WI) shot an 80, John Shaw (SO/Bloemfontein, South Africa) with an 81, Keegan Bronson (SO/Hayfield, MN) finished with an 84, Dillan Plummer (SR/Twentynine Palms, CA) an 85, and Tyler Clouse (SR/Forest City, IA) with an 88.
"A bit surprised by our team's performance at a golf course they know. We'll have to put this tournament behind us and focus on the next event," Head Coach Mark Clouse stated. "I am confident we can rebound quickly and play to the level that we expect."
The men's golf team has another quick turnaround with a home dual against Dickinson State tomorrow, September 30th starting at 10 am.
