Parker Named NSAA Special Teams Player of the Week
BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced its first edition of football players of the week honors on Monday. Connor Parker was named as Special Teams Player of the Week.
Parker (SO/Stillwater, MN) went 5/5 on PAT extra-point kicks to help secure a Waldorf home win over Briar Cliff (Iowa) on Saturday. He also recorded six kick-offs for 201 total yards, averaging 33.5 per kickoff.
"We are extremely proud of Connor, his hard work and dedication to this program. His work ethic is not going unnoticed," Interim Head Coach Tyler Chapa stated. "He works his tail off week in and week out and we look forward to all of his accomplishments this season."
The Warriors travel for a non-conference game against St. Francis (Ill.) on Saturday, September 2nd starting at 1 pm.
