Warriors Fall to Vikings and Defeat Statesmen for Triangular on Senior Night
FOREST CITY, IA – The Waldorf women's wrestling hosted the Missouri Valley Vikings and the William Penn Statesmen for a triangular on Monday evening. The Warriors were defeated by the Vikings 10-35 and then won over the Statesmen 25-23.
"High effort tonight, but we came out of the gate a little too timid. We can't wrestle in their positions. We have to get our positions and then to our offense," stated Head Coach Tyreece Gilder. "That's when we put points up. The ladies made the adjustments the second match and it showed."
