Men's Wrestling - Warriors Compete at Northwestern College

The Waldorf men's wrestling team traveled for a dual against Northwestern College. The Warriors fell 10-40.
Andru Gomez (FR/Tuscon, AZ), wrestling at 125 lbs, started off strong for the Warriors by defeating Logan Schroeder by major decision, 13-3, add four team points.
At 141 lbs, Camryn Van Zee (FR/Peterson, IA) lost by fall, 1:45 to Johnny Burnette.
Tyler Okada (SO/Anaheim, CA) competed at 149 lbs. Okada defeated Noah Parmelee by an 8-4 decision, giving the Warriors three more team points.
In the 157 lb dual, Dalton Thorson (SO/Lake Mills, IA) was defeated by Brody Hoversten by fall, 1:36.
Jackson Prescott (FR/Coalville, UT) won his dual against Cole Rutter by a 10-3 decision to give the Warriors their total of 10 points.
The Raiders went on to win the next three duals. Bowen Ward (FR/Union, MO) competed at 174 lbs and fell to Jake Francksen-Small by technical fall, 16-0.
At 184 lbs, Randry Mugisha (JR/Minneapolis, MN) was defeated by Luke Jenness by fall, 2:32.
In the final dual at 197 lbs, Jackson Rickter (FR/Naples, ID) fell to Kaleb Lind by technical fall, 18-0.
The Warriors will compete at the Sioux City Open on Saturday, Feb. 4th starting at 9 a.m.
