SIOUX CENTER, IA – In the final game of the season, the Waldorf men's soccer team had a conference game at the Dordt University (IA) Defenders on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors suffered an 8-1 defeat.
The Defenders opened the game with two unassisted goals to take an early lead. Throughout the first half, the Defenders added three more goals to extend their lead 5-0.
In the second half, the Defenders scored three straight goals.
At the 65th minute mark, Garrett McBee (SO/Lake Wales, FL) scored an unassisted goal for the Warriors.
Waldorf goalkeeper Charlie Austin-Ross (SR/Essex, UK) finished the game with 11 saves and McBee had three shots on goal.
The Waldorf men's soccer team finished the season 2-15-1 overall and 1-11-0 in GPAC play.
