OSKALOOSA, IA – The Waldorf women's volleyball team competed at the Jimmy John's tournament hosted by William Penn on Friday afternoon for two matches. The Warriors won both in four sets.
"We keep testing ourselves and finding ways to win. I am proud of our resolve and determination, especially when we found ourselves behind in a set," Head Coach Bri Ebenhoe said. "We are working to build patience and trust, and so far we come out on the right side every time."
In the first match of the day, the Warriors faced Graceland University. After dropping the first set, 16-25, the Warriors bounced back to win the next three, 25-16, 25-13, and 25-22.
For the second match, Waldorf faced a familiar opponent in Clarke (IA) to win for a second time. The Warriors took the first set 25-18 and lost the second 22-25. The third and fourth sets were close but won 26-24 and 25-21.
The Warriors return tomorrow for two more matches against St. Ambrose at 1pm and William Penn at 3pm. Information on livestream for both games can be found at the link below.
