Volleyball Falls to No. 18 Bruins in NSAA Tournament Quarterfinal

WATERTOWN, S.D. – The Waldorf volleyball team closed out their season with a quarterfinal game against the No. 18 Bellevue Bruins at the NSAA conference championship on Thursday afternoon. The Warriors lost in 3 (19-25, 9-25, 12-25).
The Warriors got off to a solid start against the Bruins in the first set by battling point after point. Bellevue took a five-point lead and the Waldorf battled to bring the game within three points before the Bruins won 25-19. The Warriors finished with a team-high of 13 kills in the set.
Kenzie Kidd (SR/Roscoe, IL) finished with nine kills and seven digs. Anna Longhenry (SO/Fenton, IA) added eight kills, Emma Hovenga (SR/Forest City, IA) had 21 assists, and Kaylee Kidd (SR/Roscoe, IL) tallied nine digs.
The Waldorf volleyball teams finishes the season with an overall record of 12-15.
