Bio
Matt Ebenhoe began his time as Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Waldorf Volleyball team in 2017.
Ebenhoe comes to the Warriors after serving as an assistant coach at Aquinas High School in La Crosse, Wis. for seven seasons. He helped the Blugolds reach the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Division 3 state tournament during the 2016 season, which saw Aquinas turn in the best set record in Mississippi Valley Conference (MVC) history. During Ebenhoe’s time with the Blugolds, the team won five regional championships and the 2016 sectional title. Aquinas also claimed conference championships in 2014 and 2016.
While coaching at Aquinas, Ebenhoe worked with setters who earned first-team all-conference honors for three consecutive seasons, were named first-team All-La Crosse Tribune selections in 2014 and 2016, along with garnering all-state honorable mention recognition during the 2016 campaign.
A native of Milwaukee, Ebenhoe graduated from Nathan Hale High School in West Allis, Wis. in 2003.
Ebenhoe continued his education and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he was a member of the track and field team in 2004. The Eagles won Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) titles and went on to capture the NCAA Division III national championship during the indoor and outdoor seasons.
In 2007, Ebenhoe graduated from UW-La Crosse with a bachelor’s of arts degree in finance and a minor in economics. He and his wife, Bri, who is the head coach of Waldorf’s volleyball team, reside in Forest City.
