Women's Soccer Fall Against Clarke (IA) on the Road

DUBUQUE, IA – The Waldorf women's soccer team returned to action for a non-conference contest against Clarke (IA) on Sunday evening. The Warriors fell 5-1.
The Pride scored the first goal to take an early lead within the first seven minutes of the game.
Paige Spatorico (FR/North Tonawanda, NY) tied the game with an unassisted goal to close out the first half.
In the second half, the Pride scored four more goals to win 5-1.
Goalkeeper Samantha Linteo (SR/Napa, CA) finished the game with 13 saves. Zoe Silovich (JR/Rock Springs, WY) had a team-high of four shots with two of those on goal.
Next up for the women's soccer team is a non-conference home game against Viterbo on Wednesday, September 6that 7pm.
