SIOUX CENTER, IA – The Waldorf women's soccer team had their last game of the season at the Dordt University (IA) Defenders. The Warriors were defeated 6-1.
Gabby Bauman (SR/Breaux Bridge, LA) opened the game with an early goal off of a corner kick by Iveth Guzman (SR/Mission, TX). Bauman recorded her third goal of the season.
The Defenders tied the game during the ninth minute and then added four more goals in the first half.
In the second half, the Defenders scored a quick goal to secure a 6-1 win.
Waldorf goalkeepers Samantha Linteo (SR/Napa, CA) and Lucia Serrano Blazquez (FR/Madrid, Spain) each finished the game with two saves.
The women's soccer team finished the season with an overall record of 1-12-3 and a GPAC record of 1-9-2.
