SEWARD, NE – The Waldorf women's soccer team returned to action for a GPAC contest against the Concordia (NE) Bulldogs. The Warriors suffered a 1-2 loss.
The Bulldogs opened the game with a quick goal by scoring within the first two minutes.
At the 32nd minute, the Bulldogs extended their lead with another goal.
The second period remained scoreless until Sydney Boyd (SR/Aiea, HI) scored, unassisted, for the Warriors at the 87th minute.
Samantha Linteo (SR/Napa, CA) and Maria Gonzalez (SR/Turlock, CA) split time in goal. Linteo played the first half and finished with three saves. Gonzalez finished the game with four saves. Boyd had two shots on goal, with one goal scored.
The women's soccer team will return to their home field for Senior Day. The Warriors will host Mount Marty on Wednesday, October 28th starting at 7 pm.
