PAPILLION, NE – The Waldorf women's soccer team traveled for a non-conference game against the (RV)Bellevue Bruins on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors lost 3-0.
The Bruins were quick to score during the 8th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, the Bruins extended their lead with another goal.
Sydney Boyd SR/Aiea, HI) saw a scoring opportunity with a shot on goal, but it was saved by the Bruins goalie.
In the second half, the Bruins scored the final goal at the 70th minute to win the game.
Waldorf goalie Samantha Linteo (SR/Napa, CA) finished the game with seven saves.
Next up for the women's soccer team is a home conference game against Northwestern on Wednesday, October 18th. Kickoff is at 7 pm.
