FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf women's soccer team returned to the home pitch for the first time in five games to face Mount Marty in a GPAC matchup Saturday. The Lancers scored a pair of second half goals to preserve the win.
Mount Marty scored first in the game's eighth minute off a corner kick. The score remained 1-0 at haltime. They added their second half goals in the 54th and 77th minutes.
Isabella Bell started the game in net for Waldorf and recorded three saves. Hannah McNeave recorded seven saves.
Waldorf (0-7, 0-2 in GPAC) heads back on the road for a date at Dordt Wednesday.
