SIOUX CITY, IA – The Waldorf women's soccer team returned to GPAC play with a road game against the Briar Cliff Chargers on Saturday afternoon, resulting in a draw, 0-0.
Waldorf goalkeeper, Samantha Linteo (SR/Napa, CA), opened the game with a save within the first minute.
The Chargers saw more offensive opportunities with having five shots on goal, compared to the Warriors having three.
Linteo added four more saves in the second half.
Paige Spatorico (FR/North Tonawanda, NY) finished the game with two shots on goal and Linteo ended with nine saves on the day.
Next up for the women's soccer team is an away conference matchup against Dakota Wesleyan (SD) on Wednesday, October 11th at 7:15 pm.
