FOREST CITY, IA- The Waldorf University Warriors hosted Midland Universtiy in a conference match up at the Bolstorff Field in Forest City, Iowa. The Warriors were unable to counter Midland's attack and fell 3-0.
The Midland Warriors scored a goal off an early penalty kick in the first half. Waldorf's keeper had a finger on it but was unable to get a save. The Warriors continued to battle hard and went into halftime with a 1-0 score in favor of Midland. As the game went on, the Midland Warriors were able to get a goal in the second half off a freekick and were able to sneak in a through ball making it a 1v1 play into goal. The final score was 3-0 in favor of Midland University.
Looking ahead, the Warriors are set to play Morningside University on Wednesday October 22 in Sioux City, Iowa.
