Waldorf Competes against Drury University
SPRINGFIELD, MO – In Friday night's game against Drury University, the Panthers came out strong, scoring three goals in the first period. Waldorf's Evan Koivunen and Geoffrey Dick each scored a goal in the second period. After scoring once in the second period, Drury put the puck in the net three more times in the third period, finishing with a score of 7-2. Matthew Loney made 43 saves for the Warriors.
On Saturday, Drury won 4-0 with Vaughn Holbeche making 26 saves.
The Warriors are back at home Friday, January 17 at 7:30pm and Saturday, January 18 at 6pm against Minot State University. Waldorf will honor their seniors on Saturday night and host Skate with the Warriors following the game.
