The first half closed out with the Vikings scoring a three-pointer. Johnson made one free-throw and Zack Meyer (JR/Spring Hill, FL) made a layup.

A layup from Washington and two free-throws from Meyer brought the game within six. The Vikings extend their lead to 10. Johnson scored and brought back under single digits.
Justin Wiggins (SO/West Palm Beach, FL) added two made free-throws to trail 47-56 with two minutes left, but the Warriors fell 49-58.
"Really tough night shooting. We had great shots. They didn't fall. By far our worst shooting night of the year," Head Coach Nigel Jenkins stated. "Add 20 turnovers on top of that, it's a recipe for disaster. Our defense and rebounding was solid overall. Tomorrow is a new day. We have to better."
Johnson recorded a double-double of 17 points and 18 rebounds, along with four assists, two blocks, and one steal. Washington added 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
The Warriors will return to play tomorrow against Dickinson State University starting at 5 p.m.
