Warriors Compete with #13 Northwestern College in Last Game of the Season

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Waldorf Men's Basketball traveled to the #13 Northwestern College Raiders on Saturday. The Warriors came ready to play, scoring the first basket and taking their lead into halftime, 51-38. The Raiders made some adjustments on both sides of the court in the second half and took the lead for the first time in the game with 14 minutes left. Waldorf continued to fight and kept the score close but couldn't overtake the #13 team, who won 102-92.
Waldorf had five players who scored double digits, three of which shot 50% or better from behind the arc. Ugo Ejiofor had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Nick Graves had 20 points and 6 assists. Khalil Grayson finished with 21 points and 4 assists. Gene Noble had 17 points and 6 rebounds. Noah Miller had 16 points and 5 assists.
"Proud of our fight tonight, and all year long really," Coach Demitrius Martin said. "We had a lot of adversity throughout the year and continued to chip away. Our five seniors have been great for their careers. I know they'll be successful in life. I'll forever be thankful for the opportunity to coach this group in my first year as head coach."
The Warriors finish their season 3-25 overall and 2-19 in the conference.
