ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Waldorf baseball team had a quick turn-around for a one 9-inning non-conference game against Northwestern College. The Warriors lost 1-9.
The Raiders scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning. They added runs in the 5th and 6th inning as well as finishing with three runs in the bottom of the 7th inning.
Matthew Ferreira (SR/Spring Creek, NV) got a homerun in the top of the 9th inning to give the Warriors their only run. The Raiders won 1-9.
Jamie Olson (SO/Menifee, CA) pitched the first three innings and finished with a team high of three strikeouts and two walks.
Next up for the baseball team is an away conference series against Bellevue starting on Friday, April 7th at 1 p.m.
