LINDSBORG, Kan. – The Warrior Baseball team opened the 2025 season in Lindsborg, Kan. with the Bethany College Swedes on Friday.
In Game 1, the Warriors started strong with one run in the first inning. Ryan Webster hit a double and then stole third base due to an error, sending Drake Fetters home. The Swedes gained the lead with ten runs between the third and fourth innings. The Warriors scored once more in the sixth inning by Webster after an RBI from Chase Becker. Bethany took the win 10-2.
In Game 2, Bethany scored one run while Waldorf wasn't able to score, finishing the game 1-0. Ben Dornseif gave a solid performance on the mound, allowing only one run and five hits plus striking out three batters.
The two teams finish this series with another double header tomorrow at Bethany College. Game 1 begins at 1pm.
