SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - The Warriors faced a tough team in the Saint Xavier Cougars. The Cougars scored three runs in the top of the first inning and two in the top of the second. Both teams remained scoreless in the third and fourth innings.
Waldorf picked up some momentum in the bottom of the fifth when Gabby Bierly hit a double and had two RBIs as Dionne Lopez and Kierra Lynn Schulz made it home. With the game now 5-2, the Cougars increased the lead in the top of the sixth inning, scoring six runs. Waldorf couldn't recover, and the Cougars won 11-2.
The Warriors hit the road on Friday, February 21 to face Cottey College in Branson, Missouri.
