FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf softball team entertained NSAA-leading Bellevue for a second doubleheader in as many days. Like Saturday, the Warriors hung tough with the Bruins, but Bellevue came away with a series sweep.

Waldorf led 2-0 after one inning. Bellevue took a 3-2 lead in the third, but the Warriors quickly snatched back their lead. Eslinger and Ehlert led off the third with singles. Morris reached on a sacrifice bunt and error allowing Eslinger to score. Ehlert scored on an RBI grounder from Clark to give Waldorf a 4-3 lead. It was the same story in the fourth inning. With two runners in scoring position, Eslinger singled up the middle to drive in a pair to give Waldorf a 6-5 lead. Bellevue took a 7-6 lead in the sixth, but there would be no Waldorf counter. Bellevue added two more insurance runs in the seventh and claim the 9-6 win.
