Waldorf Drops Two to College of Saint Mary

OMAHA, NE - Waldorf dropped both games to The College of Saint Mary on Tuesday April 15th. The Warriors struggled to get the offense going as game one ended in a score of 11-3 and game two ended 3-1.
Game One:
The Flames started the scoring early in their half of the first with a triple, followed by a RBI double. They would score 3 in the third, 4 in the fourth, and eventually walk it off with 3 more runs in the bottom of the fifth.
The Warriors would cut the deficit in the top of the fourth scoring 3 runs making the score 4-3, but could not hang on for the rest of the game. Sophomore Haley Ehlert led off with a double, followed by a Noemi Tudon single, and an RBI fielder's choice from Paige Pierson. Dionne Lopez would single, and senior Timber Oakes would drive in the last two runs with another RBI single. This would end the rally for the Warriors.
Jaycee Plath started game one throwing 2.1 innings. She gave up 5 hits and 4 earned runs with a single strikeout.
Game Two:
The Warriors would start hot in game two scoring 1 in the top of the first. Timber Oakes would lead off the game with a triple to deep right field. Noemi Tudon singled to right field to bring in Oakes. This unfortunately would be the only run for the Warriors.
Oakes would go 2 for 4 with a triple.
Tudon was 1 for 4.
Jenna Busch was 1 for 4.
Reagan Ridout was 1 for 3.
Gabby Bierly was 1 for 3.
Jaycee Plath was 1 for 3.
Freshman Reagan Ridout would go complete once again, giving up 7 hits, 2 earned runs, and 4 strikeouts.
