Waldorf Drops Two to Concordia (NE)

SEWARD, NE - Waldorf drops both games to Concordia on Saturday in Seward, Nebraska. They lost game one 8-0 and a tough game two 2-1.
Game One:
The Warriors offense struggled to get started in game one, and was limited to only 2 hits throughout the game. One of those coming from Senior Timber Oakes, going 1 for 2 with a walk. The other came from junior Noemi Tudon going 1 for 2. Oakes and Paige Pierson each had a stolen base. The starting pitcher, freshman Jaycee Plath threw 3.1 innings with one strikeout, 3 earned runs, and gave up 3 walks. Junior Geneva Molina came in relief and threw 2.1 innings giving up 0 runs with 2 walks.
Game Two:
Game two was a much better outing for the Warriors, but a one run difference would eventually finish the night. The Warriors put together five hits through 7 innings, but could not string anything together in order to push across more than one run.
Junior Gabby Bierly went 1 for 3 with a single.
Junior Noemi Tudon went 1 for 1 with a double and 2 walks.
Senior Paige Pierson went 2 for 3 with two singles, and the only RBI of the game.
Starting pitcher freshman Reagan Ridout went 1 for 3 with a single.
Ridout would throw a complete game giving up 5 hits, 1 walk, 5 Ks, and no earned runs.
