"We got off to a strong start, but we had a rough 2nd quarter that was pretty tough to overcome," Head Coach Shawn Chaffin stated. "We did have some bright spots, winning the offensive rebound battle with 14 boards against a long athletic team. Mayville State is ranked for a reason."
Garza finished with a team high of 17 points, with 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist, and 1 block. Dial added 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals. Ogbemudia had 8 points and 4 rebounds.
