Warriors Compete with #16 Dakota Wesleyan University on Senior Night

FOREST CITY, Iowa – Waldorf Women's Basketball hosted the #16 Dakota Wesleyan Tigers in their last home game of the season. The Warriors played an incredible game, outscoring the #16 team in the second quarter and tying them in the third. Waldorf came within one point of the Tigers a few times but ultimately couldn't overtake them, and Dakota Wesleyan won 74-64.
Brooke Dial scored 30 points for the second time this season, tying the record for 3rd highest points in a single game. Edosa Ogbemudia had a game high of 6 assists. The three seniors also contributed. Alyah Abrahamson scored 11 points, assisted on 4 baskets, and had 4 steals. Camryn McQuery finished with 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block. Fatou Barry had 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist.
"Really proud of our effort tonight against a really good Dakota Wesleyan," Coach Shawn Chaffin said. "We answered their runs each time. Our team played so hard for one another."
The Warriors finish the regular season at RV Northwestern College on Saturday, February 22 at 2pm.
