FOREST CITY, Iowa – Waldorf faced a tough team in the #25 Hastings Broncos on Saturday. The Broncos got off to a strong start in the first quarter with their successful shooting and aggressive defense. Waldorf fell into a better rhythm in the second quarter and into the second half with better shooting percentages and ball control than the start of the game. However, Waldorf was unable to catch up to the high-scoring Broncos, who took the win 106-51.
Brooke Dial finished the game with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds and added 4 steals and 2 blocks for the team. Cloey Dmytruk scored 15 points and grabbed 2 rebounds.
Waldorf enters their bye week and will take Wednesday night off before traveling to Concordia University next Saturday, February 1 at 2pm.
