Waldorf Baseball Falls to Mount Mercy

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Waldorf Baseball hit the road to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to face the Mount Mercy Mustangs in a non-conference single game match up.
Mount Mercy scored twelve runs in the first six innings, holding Waldorf scoreless until the top of the seventh. The Warriors scored three runs by Brandon McKelvey, Drake Fetters, and Atticus Smith, cutting Mount Mercy's lead down to nine runs. Mount Mercy scored one last run at the bottom of the seventh to win the ball game 13-3.
Seth Mifflin, Dylan Battye, and Anthony Hibl all had one RBI. Cameren Rindone, Hibl, and Mason Smith turned a double play in the bottom of the fourth to end the inning.
Waldorf Baseball is on the road again for their next match up against conference opponent Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska on Saturday, March 22 at 1pm and 3:30pm.
