Bio
Riley Bardes joined the Waldorf Football Staff in the Spring of 2025 as the Offensive Line Coach.
Prior to taking over as the offensive line coach, he spent two years at Eastern Washington University (FCS) as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach and Senior Analyst. At EWU, Bardes assisted an offense that finished the regular season ranked among the Top-10 nationally in nine major categories, including first and third down conversions (56.4%), No. 5 in rushing yards per game (229.3), No. 8 in red zone conversion (91.1%), No. 8 in yards per game (444.3), and No. 8 in points per game (35.8). The Eagles’ offense set school records for rushing attempts in a game (68), rushing yards in a game (478), and rushing touchdowns in a game (10). In 2024, Coach Bardes helped coach two All Big Sky and one All-American offensive linemen.
Bardes is a graduate of Western Oregon University where he earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. He played for the Western Oregon University Rugby Team, helping them become 5th ranked nationally and post a 9-0 record at home in the 2019 season.
Originally from The Dalles, Oregon where he began his coaching career after being a standout in football and track and field, Bardes was the Offensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coordinator at Charles A. Sprague High School in Salem, Oregon following graduating from Western Oregon University.
