FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf Warriors D2 Hockey team is excited to announce the addition of Keaton Rasmusson for the 2025-26 season. Head Coach Sean Parker announced the signing of Rasmusson from West Fargo, North Dakota. Keaton comes to Waldorf after playing two seasons of junior hockey.
Rasmusson is a 6'1'' left-handed defenseman. After playing high school hockey in North Dakota, Keaton moved to junior hockey, playing for Great Falls Americans of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL). Mid-season, Keaton went to Yellowstone Quake of the NA3HL to finish the year. His final season of juniors Keaton stayed with the Yellowstone Quake where he played 31 games, finishing his junior career with 61 games played.
"I'm really excited to have Keaton be a Warrior next year," said Waldorf Head Coach Sean Parker. "He is a player that can handle tough situations and the physical play of college hockey. His work ethic and wanting to get better everyday was a big draw of us to Keaton. He is going to bring experience to the defense position. When Keaton visited, he fit right in with the guys like he has been on the team for the whole year. Can't wait to see what the future has for Keaton here at Waldorf."
