In his final season with the Blades, he played in 22 games with 5 points.
"I'm excited to have Paul be a Warrior next season." Said Waldorf Head Coach Sean Parker. "Paul is the gritty player we are building our roster with, guys that are always going to give it all they have and not quit no matter what. That's how we are going to win games at this level. He fits that perfectly. We have had a lot of opportunities to see Paul play in our exhibition games with Steele County, and with them playing home games not far from us. He was a player we identified early." "Paul will be a good addition who can help us on the Penalty Kill. Paul, being close in location and having a few familiar faces in the hockey program, will make the transition to living away from home and a higher level of hockey easier.
