Rachel Watson: Lions Club Sportsmanship Award
Watson, a senior from Littleton, CO, fully embraced what it means to be a Champion of Character, both at Waldorf and at the NAIA level. While competing on the volleyball court, she also contributed her time and efforts to developing groups for student-athletes where they could have a voice and use that voice to create solutions for the betterment of current and future student-athletes across Waldorf University and the nation.

Miller, a senior from Forest City, Iowa, is a pillar in the Forest City and Waldorf communities. Over his four years on the men's basketball team, he scored 831 points, grabbed 216 rebounds, and had 185 assists. The Waldorf Honor Athlete Award has been in place for more than 50 years. It honors not only one of our top student-athletes, but one whom is a solid student, a person of honor, and respected by his or her peers.
The Volleyball Team was awarded the 2024-2025 Team Community Service Award, which is awarded to one team each year for exceptional service and going above and beyond the department's expectations. The team volunteered at campus clean-ups, the annual rake-a-thon, and Trunk or Treat and scheduled visits and chats with assisted living and Mosaic. This is the third year in a row that the Volleyball team has received the award.
